Talking Recovery Honest, Ongoing, Human
Talking Recovery – Honest, Ongoing, Human
Healing didn’t turn out to be a finish line.
It turned out to be something lived.
You’ve done meaningful work.
You’ve stepped into recovery.
You’ve faced trauma.
You’ve grown in awareness.
And still - life keeps unfolding..
Some days are steady.
Some days are uncertain.
Some days are surprisingly tender.
Continuous Becoming is a live conversation space for people who know that healing is real - and still ongoing.
Not because you’re behind.
Not because something’s wrong.
But because growth deepens.
This is a place for thoughtful, grounded dialogue about trauma, addiction, identity and what it means to live consciously when the dramatic part of change has passed - and the real integration begins.
What This Series Is
A six-part live conversation season.
Each 60-minute session includes:
- 30 minutes of honest dialogue
- 15 minutes of optional breakout reflection
- 15 minutes of moderated Q&A
There are no slides.
No scripts.
No performance.
Just two experienced practitioners in conversation about the parts of growth that are rarely spoken about — but widely felt.
Each session stands alone.
You are welcome to join one — or walk the whole season with us.
Season One - Foundation
May to October
Six conversations exploring the quieter, deeper layers of healing.
The Myth of the Healed Human
We begin by gently questioning the idea that there is a point where you arrive and never wobble again.
We'll explore:
- The subtle pressure to be “further along”
- Why growth isn’t linear
- What emotional maturity really looks like
You'll leave with:
- Relief from comparison
- A more compassionate view of your own journey
- Permission to be ongoing rather than complete
Living Beyond Labels
Labels can steady us — and they can also start to confine us.
We'll explore:
- Diagnosis and identity
- The comfort and cost of self-definition
- How to honour your story without being reduced by it
You'll leave with:
- Language for evolving beyond identity
- A broader sense of possibility
- A gentler relationship with your past
The Imprints We Internalised
Much of what we call "personality" began as adaptation.
We'll explore:
- Family and cultural imprints
- Roles we learned in order to belong
- The difference between survival identity and essence
You'll leave with:
- Greater self-compassion
- Insight into inherited patterns
- Space to reconsider who you’ve had to be
The 3D's of Unbecoming
Deconstructing. Dissolving. Discovering. Growth often feels like letting go before finding clarity.
We'll explore:
- The discomfort of releasing old beliefs & identities
- The fear of not knowing who you are anymore
- Why the in-between is fertile ground
You'll leave with:
- Normalisation of uncertainty
- Patience with transition
- Trust in gradual discovery
What Does Becoming Actually Mean?
Becoming is not self-improvement. It is integration.
We'll explore:
- Alignment over performance
- Presence over perfection
- Growth lived in ordinary moments
You'll leave with:
- A grounded understanding of evolution
- Relief from striving
- Practical clarity about what matters most
Trusting the Conscious Voyage
How do you move forward when you cannot see the full path?
We'll explore:
- Rebuilding trust in yourself
- Living well with uncertainty
- Choosing awareness instead of control
You'll leave with:
- A steadier sense of direction
- Confidence in your next step
- A felt sense that you are not walking alone
