What past participants say about this work:

Lou changed the way I work with people,— her webinars and masterclasses should be required training for all those working within the field.

I finally understood my client’s relapse not as a failure, but as feedback and coming from unhealed trauma, which needed addressing.

Lou's presence is compassionate, grounded, and profoundly insightful.  She has a very soothing voice and teaches in a grounded, humble way.

Meet your host:

Trauma-Informed Systems Designer • International Speaker • Creator of The Voyage®

Hi, I’m Lou.

Before I created The Voyage®, I spent over two decades working as a trauma therapist, sitting with people in the depth of their inner worlds.

And if I’m honest, parts work wasn’t something I just learned professionally.

It was something I had to come to understand personally.

Because like many of the clients I was working with, I knew what it was like to feel pulled in different directions internally… to have parts that didn’t make sense…
parts that carried shame…
parts that didn’t respond to logic, insight, or even the best therapeutic interventions.

Over time, I began to see something more clearly.

It wasn’t that people were resistant.
And it wasn’t that the work wasn’t landing.

It was that many of the models we were using were too rigid, too conceptual, or too far removed from the lived experience of the nervous system.

So I stepped outside of the scripts.

I started listening differently.
Working more relationally.
Paying attention not just to what was being said, but to what was happening in the body, in the room, in the space between.

And what emerged was a way of working with parts that is grounded, trauma-informed, and deeply human.

Not about fixing.
Not about forcing change.
But about helping clients feel safe enough to begin to understand themselves from the inside out.

Now, through The Voyage®, I teach clinicians how to work with parts in a way that integrates nervous system awareness, relational safety, and real-world application.

So this isn’t about learning another model to apply.

It’s about refining how you see, how you listen, and how you meet what shows up in the room.
