Founder of The Voyage®, Trauma Specialist, Speaker and Author

Lou Lebentz is the founder of The Voyage® and a leading voice in trauma-informed practice, nervous system education, and mind-body-soul healing. With more than twenty-five years of clinical and international teaching experience, she has trained thousands of professionals and supported individuals across the world to understand trauma through a compassionate, integrative lens.

Her work weaves neuroscience, somatic awareness, internal parts, belief systems, and relational safety into a clear, accessible approach. Lou created The Voyage® 12-Wave Framework to offer both professionals and communities a structured pathway from survival to regulation, connection, and meaning. Her own lived experience of trauma, addiction, recovery, and healing gives her work authenticity, depth, and heart.

Alongside her clinical training, Lou speaks internationally, writes extensively on trauma, and continues to develop programmes that support individuals, organisations, and systems to become trauma-informed in a grounded and credible way. She lives in Hampshire with her beloved dog Alfie.
