Melanie Curtis

Melanie Curtis is a trauma-informed practitioner, educator and facilitator with a background in nervous system work, relational dynamics and transformational coaching. She is particularly interested in helping people understand how trauma, stress and survival responses shape the way we relate, lead, communicate and work with others.

Melanie brings a grounded, relational and accessible style to her training. Her work bridges trauma theory with real-world application, supporting individuals, teams and organisations to develop greater nervous system literacy, emotional awareness and compassionate practice.

As part of The Voyage® trainer community, Melanie is committed to making trauma-informed education practical, human and deeply relevant to everyday life, leadership and organisational culture.

Dave Waller

Dave Waller is a BACP-registered psychotherapist and addiction specialist with more than 12 years of clinical experience. He previously worked for six years as the Eating Disorder Lead Therapist at Priory Life Works and holds a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Addiction Psychology, alongside Master Practitioner training with the National Centre for Eating Disorders.

Before retraining as a psychotherapist, Dave spent 16 years in commercial and science-based industries. This gives him a rare combination of clinical depth, analytical thinking and an understanding of professional and organisational environments.

Dave’s work is grounded in safety, empathy and trauma-informed care. He has a particular interest in eating disorders, addiction, nervous system regulation and the deeper patterns that sit beneath symptoms and coping strategies. Having completed The Voyage® Deep Dive, Dave brings an integrated understanding of trauma, recovery and nervous system healing to his work with individuals, groups and organisations.

Rhian Jones

Rhian Jones has worked in the health and wellbeing sector for more than 20 years, with a background in coaching, trauma-informed practice and frontline support. In 2023, she expanded her work into the charitable sector, supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking.

Rhian is passionate about helping people understand trauma in a way that feels compassionate, practical and empowering. Her work as a trauma-informed IDVA/ISVA has deepened her commitment to supporting people not only to make sense of what has happened to them, but also to move towards safety, recovery and healing.

As part of The Voyage® trainer community, Rhian brings warmth, lived professional experience and a strong understanding of the real-world impact of trauma across individuals, families, services and systems.

Clarinda Cuppage

UKCP Registered Psychotherapist

Clarinda Cuppage is a UKCP registered psychotherapist with more than 12 years’ experience supporting people with histories of addiction, trauma and relational abuse. She brings warmth, empathy and steadiness to her work, creating spaces where people can gently explore the experiences, patterns and behaviours that are impacting their lives.

Clarinda’s approach is trauma-led and integrates mind-body awareness, somatic practices and nervous system regulation. Alongside her psychotherapy background, she has worked in healthcare communications, advocacy, mental health support, national helpline services and projects supporting survivors of sexual abuse.

Clarinda holds an MA in Psychotherapy and an MSc in Medical Anthropology. She has delivered training on trauma and the impact of sexual abuse to nurses, social workers, counsellors and psychotherapists. As part of The Voyage® trainer community, she brings a thoughtful, compassionate and deeply informed approach to trauma education.

Zoe Jarvis

Zoe Jarvis is a trauma-informed facilitator with a background in social work, humanitarian action, peacebuilding and systems change. Her work supports people to look inward with compassion, strengthen relationships with others and understand how wider systems and cultures can either create harm or support repair.

Zoe combines academic grounding with practical experience across complex human and organisational environments. She is particularly interested in leadership, collective healing, relational repair and creating cultures where people feel safer, more connected and more able to thrive.

As part of The Voyage® trainer community, Zoe brings kindness, depth and a systems-aware perspective to trauma-informed education, helping individuals and organisations think differently about healing, leadership and change.

At The Voyage®, we are passionate about helping individuals, professionals, and organisations navigate trauma recovery and personal growth.

Whether you're looking for expert guidance, professional training, or support tailored to your needs, Lou and her team are here to help.
